So, what is PPF?

Paint Protection Film is a durable, high-performance film that is designed to act as a shield between your vehicle’s paint and the outside elements. It is engineered using advanced technologies and premium quality materials to offer exceptional resistance against impacts, environmental contaminants, and UV rays.

Key features and benefits of PPF.

Self-Healing Technology: PPF is equipped with an advanced self-healing capability, which means that minor scratches and marks on the film’s surface can disappear on their own over time under the right conditions. This ensures that your vehicle always looks pristine, even after rough road encounters.

Optimal Clarity: The film is designed to be highly transparent and virtually invisible when applied correctly. It seamlessly blends with your vehicle’s paint, preserving its original condition and colour, while still providing excellent protection against debris and other potential damage.

Exceptional Durability: PPF is made from a high-strength polyurethane material that offers exceptional resistance against abrasions, impacts, and weathering. It is designed to withstand the rigours of everyday driving, ensuring your vehicle’s paint is well-protected.

Hydrophobic Properties: The hydrophobic surface of PPF makes it easier to clean and maintain. It repels water, dirt, and other contaminants, allowing for effortless washing and preserving the film’s aesthetics for years to come.

Warranty: As we offer two products, they have different warranties. Gyeon offers an infinite warranty for as long as you own the vehicle or 10 years. STEK offer a 12-year warranty period.  The warranty coverage varies depending on the specific product and the installation, ensuring that you are supported throughout the lifetime of your PPF. These warranty periods are for the original manufacturer’s paint and bodywork. If your vehicle has had a repair or a respray, then please contact us to discuss warranties.

Why Choose Us?

At South Coast Wrapping, we are passionate about delivering exceptional results and customer satisfaction. We are dual certified PPF installers, skilled professionals and have extensive experience within the automotive industry. If anything needs to be rectified, this will be carried out either at the time of the post-check, or we may have to rebook depending on the extent of the work required.

Colour with protection

Coloured PPF installation.

Change the colour of your vehicle while adding paint protection. Coloured paint protection film combines a new finish with a protective layer designed to help absorb everyday stone chips and minor surface damage.

It is a different product from a conventional colour-change vinyl wrap. We will help you compare the finish, protective properties, available colours and cost before choosing the right film for your car.

Dry-apply coloured paint protection

STEK FORCESHIELD-air.

A colour change with protection built in. STEK FORCESHIELD-air is a coloured thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) paint protection film that combines a fresh finish with protection from everyday road debris and minor surface damage.

Its air-channel adhesive allows dry installation, helping the installer release trapped air and wrap panels and edges without a wet application process.

Colour, protection and easier care

A hydrophobic surface helps repel water, while heat-assisted self-healing can reduce minor surface marks in the film. It does not repair deep scratches or damage to the paint beneath.

Speak to our Havant team about available colours, coverage, care and the warranty applicable to your chosen film.

How much does PPF cost?

PPF cost depends on your vehicle, the panels you want to protect, the film and finish you choose, and any paint preparation needed before installation. A quote for selected panels will differ from full-body or coloured PPF coverage.

  • Coverage: tell us whether you want specific panels, front-end protection or the whole vehicle protected.
  • Vehicle: the size, shape and complexity of panels affect the material and installation time required.
  • Film and finish: clear, matte, carbon-effect and coloured films have different specifications and costs.
  • Preparation: paint condition and any correction required are assessed before installation.

For an accurate price, request a PPF installation quote with your vehicle make, model, year and preferred coverage. We will explain the options and what is included.

Can I change my car colour with PPF?

Yes. Coloured PPF combines a new finish with a protective film. Ask us about available colours and STEK FORCESHIELD-air dry-apply PPF. We will help you compare coloured PPF with a colour-change vinyl wrap and choose the right option for your vehicle.

Should I choose front-end or full-body PPF?

Front-end coverage focuses on exposed panels such as the bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors. Full-body coverage extends protection across more painted surfaces. Your driving, budget and priorities will help determine the right coverage; we will confirm the exact panels in your quote.
