Application of the General Terms and Conditions of purchase. The general terms and conditions of outlined below (hereafter known as “General Conditions”), govern the contractual relationship between any client of SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD. These general terms and conditions are the only ones applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express written consent. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD may be occasionally obliged to modify certain provisions of its general conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to re-read the terms and conditions before booking with SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD. We consider that by confirming your booking, you have read and accepted our general terms and conditions without reserve. All bookings placed by the customer imply the full acceptance of the present general conditions. Any clause accompanying a customer’s booking, or any other document which is in opposition to, or which adds a new element to the present general conditions (such as the general conditions of purchase by the customer), will not be accepted by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD.

2 Payments and Deposits. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will only deal with British sterling, all bookings and services by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD are billed and advertised in British sterling and without tax (under the condition that you provide us with a conforming intercommunity VAT number, at the price quoted on the day of the booking by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD reserves the right to modify its price at any time and in compliance with current laws. After acceptance of SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD present, general conditions of purchase and acceptance as evidenced by voluntarily ticking or singing the booking form attesting to the fact that the client has read and approves of the said conditions, all SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD clients can benefit from discounts when they are active from SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD.
3 Payment Conditions. Except in special conditions requiring a special agreement, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD payment conditions are as follows:
- a) Order payment by bank card Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express.
- b) Bank Transfer
- c) Handypay Merchant Services (Card Terminal)
Any of these payment options must first be authorised by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD’S financial department. Deposits must be made at the time of booking. A standard booking fee of 25% of the total works must be made prior to the booking confirmation. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD reserves the right to request higher deposits or waiver, as and when the management deem suitable. The customer agrees and acknowledges that SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not release the vehicle(s) or any goods prior to receipt by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD of payment in full. Failure of the customer to pay in full for any service will result in removal or refusal to supply said service. The customer agrees to pay the total fee as shown on the quotation as set out on the booking confirmation or change order. Final and full payment is due on collection (Less the deposit received at the time of booking). In the event of late payment, or failure to pay, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD reserves the rights to levy the cancellation penalty percentage charges against any money that the customer has paid in advance. Where the money paid in advance is insufficient to cover the calculated percentage, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD reserves the right to exercise any legal remedies to pursue the amount owed by the customer. Where the customer chooses to amend their booking 10 days or more prior to the workshop date agreed, resulting in a change of dates regarding workshop slots, a £100 booking administration fee will be levied. Where the customer alters the booking resulting in a reduction in the cost subsequent to the initial quote, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will charge the £100 work allocation administration Fee. Any changes to existing bookings within 7 days of arrival at one of our centres will normally not be permitted but will try to accommodate where we can. Late payments of outstanding any outstanding balance will incur a charge of 2.5% of the total cost of works for every five working days of late payment. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD reserves the right to change or waiver this charge if/where management deem suitable.
4 Claims. If a service is carried out and does not conform to what the client has booked, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will issue a refund to the client (this is only relative to SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD carrying out an incorrect service). A copy of the booking form and service booked must be attached to the client’s claim. No claims will be processed that do not adhere to the above conditions.
5 Cancellations & Refunds. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not refund for the cancellation (by the client) of any service booked. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD requires a 25% booking fee to secure any service, this booking fee is non-refundable as materials are ordered upon booking confirmation. Contacts & invoices from SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD require payment upon receipt unless agreed otherwise or SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD holds the right to cancel any booking made. If the booking is cancelled by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD a full refund of the amount may be issued. If the booking is cancelled by the client, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will require £50% of the service amount to be paid within 14 days of the cancellation date. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will refund 50% of the booking price to cancellations outside of 3 months.
6 Damages. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will carry out damage reports on all vehicles that arrive at SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD headquarters and outline these to the customer prior to any work commencing. A signed damage report from SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD and the client will be issued to the customer prior to any work commencing. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not be responsible for any damages found after the damage report has been signed. If SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD damages a vehicle whilst carrying out a service SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will rectify through third party companies of its choosing.
7 Cancellations in relation to Coronavirus. Covid-19 The health and wellbeing of our customers and our team is our highest priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and we will keep all our customers updated on any drastic changes SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD deem necessary. Our team is continually following the guidance issued by public health authorities in all matter of events no matter how big or small. Should your booking be cancelled due to the Coronavirus, Covid-19 on behalf of the client within three months of the service date SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not issue any refunds. Please be aware refunds from SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD are currently taking around 120 – 180 working business days. If the client is to rebook with SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD subject to availability the booking fee may be transferable. Should SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD have to cancel the service due to the wellbeing of its staff and customers an automatic transferable booking will be applied, subject to availability, if a new booking cannot be appointed a full refund will be issued by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD to the client.
8 Wrap Removal, Vehicle Condition and Paint. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD requests all customers to deliver vehicles clean, dry (where possible) and free from grease and wax. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not be held responsible for any paint, lacquer or trims which are damaged in the process of removing an existing wrap. SOUH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not be held responsible for any damage to the paint under the wrap caused by other installers/companies, this includes Knife marks and scratches. Prior to booking/works, paint & bodywork will have been checked and noted during the damage report process, advising of any unsuitable areas and potential issues or risk. These areas must be dealt with prior to works commencing, with both the customer and SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD agreeing that these areas are acceptable or accept that highlighted areas will not have any guarantees or warranties for workmanship or material quality. Areas that have received repair, or are suspected of receiving repair, will not be guaranteed, or warranted in line with the film manufacturer’s warranty statements. If repairs are to be carried out prior to any vehicle wrap work and booking, the paints must be fully cured and out gassed in line with the paint manufacturers technical instructions before any livery/wrap can be applied. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD gives no warranty or guarantee to panels or areas that have received remedial or re-spray/smart repair work undertaken. Any vehicle with additional damage from between the initial consultation, to the booked in date, will be highlighted and pointed out before work commences. Any additional damage needing repair will need to be re-booked but may still be charged. Vehicles with unsuitable paint or bodywork will need the customer to sign a waiver before any work will commence, ensuring any works or materials by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD are not liable against guarantees or warranties thereafter. Failure to meet any of the above points or requests may result in the works being cancelled and full charge being applied. Please note, that SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not be held responsible for the replacement of vehicle furniture on any vehicle where application requires anything to be removed. Some clips and mouldings are not designed for more than one fixing. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will also not be held responsible for vehicle badges or parts that need to be removed and/or are damaged during the application process.
9 Termination of booking. Any abuse or violent behaviour to SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD equipment or members of staff will result in immediate termination of the service booked period. If SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD decides to terminate the service booked SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not issue any refunds.
10 Use of images and videos of client’s vehicles. Photos and videos taken by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD during any service may be uploaded to the website of SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD or social media platforms this includes Facebook, Instagram and YouTube or any other social media unless stated by the client. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will use the images/videos to assist with advertising and the promotion of SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD.
10.1Use of images & Personal Email Addresses. Upon booking confirmation from SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD has the right to use the client’s personal email address for promotional & marketing services. Unless specified by the client SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD reserves the right to use all images captured from the booking for marketing and promotional material.
11 Manufacturer Warranties and after-sales services. All bookings taken from the 22nd September 2020 by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD have a manufactures warranty on the materials used. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will offer a 3 month warranty for all works carried out from the 22nd September 2020 to the 31st December 2020. All works carried out between the 1st January 2021 to the 1st January 2022 will have a 6 month warranty. All works carried out from 2nd January 2022 will qualify for our 2 year warranty. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not be held responsible for any duplicate, or work that requires replicating that may differ in colour due to batch numbers, the material or manufactures changing the contents of film/material. Printed wraps that require re-printing may also differ in colours due to materials, inks, laminates, and updated printer profiles.
SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will only honour it’s staggered warranty periods if the materials fitted were supplied by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD. Materials that have been fitted by not supplied by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will not qualify for any warranty from SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD.
All warranties that are in place are between SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD and the paying client, this warranty is valid for up to 2 years from the 2nd January 2022. For all works carried out prior to the 2nd January 2022 please refer to our staggered warranty outlined above. All warranties are from the date of install and are strictly non-transferable to any third party, this includes vehicle manufactures, after sales and private sales.
All wraps which have been fitted and supplied by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD are guaranteed for up to 2 years from the 2nd January 2022. All works prior to the are subject to our staggered warranty period. Various manufactures offer different warranty periods on the material, this can vary between 1 – 7 years.
12 Aftercare. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will give the best quality of work and materials, it is the customers’ responsibility to maintain the aftercare and appearance of their wrap/livery after handover. Keeping your vehicle clean and free from dirt will always help maintain the look of your wrap/livery like any painted surface. Please do not use any harsh chemicals with your cleaning process to help prevent any reaction to the materials.
Allow 5 days after the installation of work before washing the vehicle for the first time. Strictly hand-wash the vehicle only. DO NOT USE pressure washers/automatic washers/car washes. Ensure you clean your vehicle from the top to bottom, allowing dirt and water to run downwards. Wipe spillages, diesel/petrol/bird droppings etc., from the film as quickly as possible. Although some companies claim to have wrap waxes and polishes, we do not recommend any products 100%. If you intend to use any waxes/polishes, please try on your wrap/livery in a small inconspicuous area first.
13 Trademarks. Trademarks distributed by SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD are protected by current laws and international conventions.
Therefore, neither clients nor third parties can use trademarks without the express written consent of the trademark holder. It is understood and agreed that the acceptance of the present General Conditions is not in any way such an authorisation.
14 Ownership of Property. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD remains the owner of all materials used until the full amount of the invoice has been paid and funds cleared in the SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD accounts.
15 Point of Sale. In the case of non-payment, declined transactions or any other reason for the funds not to be debited to SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD the service will not be carried out and the sale shall be considered void.
16 Applicable law. Attribution of jurisdiction in the event of a failure to amicably resolve payment, all litigation involving SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD and its clients will be settled exclusively in the Courts of the United Kingdom with the applicable law being British law.
17 Circumstances beyond our control. SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will make all reasonable endeavours to carry out all services. Where circumstances make this impractical, such as but not limited to, adverse weather, traffic delays or vehicle breakdown, SOUTH COAST WRAPPING LTD will contact the client as early as possible.
